Accelerated rewards is a special offering to IndusInd customer as a proposition under the INDIE YOUniverse. Here a customer can choose a maximum of 3 brands from the given options. Subsequently, every transaction made using IndusInd Bank Debit Card or UPI by INDIE Savings account customers on these brands will get you additional points over and above your current earnings.
How do I join the accelerated rewards program?
As an INDIE Savings Account holder, you are eligible to avail accelerated rewards under the INDIE YOUniverse and there is no separate joining or registration required for the accelerated rewards.
How to select brands under accelerated rewards?
You need to visit rewards section in the INDIE App and select 3 brands from the offered list to add under accelerated rewards. Once selected and submitted, these 3 brands shall be part of your accelerated rewards program for the ongoing month. Brands once selected and submitted can only be changed after 30 days.
What is the maximum number of brands which can be chosen under accelerated rewards?
An INDIE savings account holder can choose a maximum of 3 brands under the accelerated rewards program.
How can I redeem accelerated rewards points?
Reward points earned under accelerated rewards program shall be clubbed with your INDIE Savings Account Rewards Points balance. The same can be availed for redemption against cashback or catalogue as per the standard redemption offering in the Indie App.
What if I didn’t choose the accelerated rewards brands for the next month?
If the user doesn't select / change brands after 30 days, then the user will continue to get rewards on the previously selected brands. Furthermore, the user can change the brands any time after 30 days, and thereafter start getting rewards on the updated brands, which can again be updated any time after 30 days
Can I change the selected accelerated rewards brands during the month?
Under accelerated rewards program, brands once submitted can only be updated after 30 days from the date of selection.
What is the expiry of accelerated rewards points?
Accelerated rewards points are valid for a period of one year from the date of earning. Unutilized points, if any, shall be expired on the midnight of one-year completion date.
What is the difference between INDIE Rewards program and accelerated rewards program?
Accelerated rewards program is a part of INDIE YOUniverse. Under accelerated rewards program, members earn additional points when transacted at the chosen brands. Earned points from both the programs are accumulated and redeemed together as a consolidated balance.
When will I get accelerated rewards points into my loyalty wallet?
Accelerated rewards points are successfully credited after a successful transaction on any of the selected brand within 7 working days.
How do I join INDIE Rewards loyalty program?
INDIE YOUniverse comes as a default offering along with your INDIE Savings Account. You do not need to register or opt separately to avail the benefits of INDIE YOUniverse. The loyalty program is not valid for other IndusInd Bank Account variants.
How many Tiers are there in the INDIE Rewards program?
There are three Tiers in the INDIE Rewards program, viz. Star, Super Star and Mega Star. Each Tier has its own list of benefits

When will I earn Loyalty reward points?
You can earn INDIE Gems through multiple actions you perform on INDIE App such as Fuel Payments, Bill Payments, Debit Card transactions, IndusInd UPI transactions, Recurring payments

How can I redeem my reward points?
INDIE Rewards are simple and transparent. You can either redeem them for cashback or brand offers. 1 INDIE Gem = ₹1
You can Redeem your reward points in 2 ways:
Points (Gems) redemption on brands available on INDIE. Points can be redeemed against a catalogue which consists of e-vouchers, memberships and other services like flight booking, hotel booking etc.
Cashback: 1 INDIE Gem = 1 Rupee. You will need a minimum of 100 Points (Gems) for redemption
Do my points expire?
Yes, your points expire after one year from the date you earned those points
How many rupees is 1 Gem?
1 Gem = 1 Rupee
How do select brands for accelerated rewards program (INDIE YOUniverse)?
You can select brands for accelerated rewards program on the home page under “Accelerated Rewards” .You can update your list of brands under MYOP every month.
Is there a redemption fee for redeeming INDIE Rewards points?
Currently, there is no redemption fee applicable on redeeming your INDIE Gems as cashback. However, a fee will be applicable for availing services such as booking flights or taking a brand offer from the catalogue.
Can I redeem items and get that delivered to others?
No, The redeemed items will be delivered to the email ID and mobile number registered with your INDIE account.
What if my order gets cancelled by INDIE Redemption partner vendor?
In case of cancellation, points shall be refunded back to your INDIE Rewards wallet within 24-48 hours of cancellation. In case of any assistance required, you may write to us on indie@indusind.com.
What is the validity of gift vouchers redeemed in the INDIE program?
Each brand has a different validity period, which shall be communicated at the time of redemption of the respective e-voucher. Please check the terms and conditions before redeeming your INDIE Gems.
What is the minimum and maximum points which can be redeemed?
Maximum and minimum points are defined as per the customer’s Tier allocation. For details visit the Reward section in the INDIE App.
Will I receive a physical voucher for my e-GV redemption?
Currently there are no physical vouchers in the INDIE Rewards program. All e-vouchers shall be sent to registered Email ID and mobile number only. The vouchers will be visible to you in your INDIE app as well.
What if my points get debited and I don’t receive an E-Voucher?
You may view your redeemed e-voucher code in the rewards section of INDIE app. Alternatively, you can also re-trigger the vouchers to your registered Email ID and Mobile number via INDIE app.
How can I view my INDIE Rewards Points Earning and Redemption History?
You can download and view your INDIE Rewards Points Transactions from the INDIE App by selecting the required date range.
For INDIE Debit card, which merchant categories are excluded from the earning of INDIE Gems?
Spends on following categories are excluded: Government payments (MCC: 9211, 9222, 9223, 9311, 9399, 9402, 9405), Insurance (MCC: Insurance - 6300, 5960,) Mutual funds (MCC: 6211), Rent Payments (MCC: 6513, 7349), Wallet spends (MCC: 6540), Credit Card bill payments (MCC: 6051), Fuel payments (5541, 5542, 5552), Utility Payments (MCC: 4899, 4900), payments for financial institutions including but not limited to loan payments (MCC: 6012), Advertising Services (MCC: 7311), Subscription Merchant (MCC: 5968), Tolls & Bridge Fees (MCC: 4784), transactions done through Amazon Pay. The transactions for each category are identified through Merchant Category Codes (MCC), as defined by Visa. IndusInd Bank does not define the merchant category.
What is the maximum number of INDIE Gems that can be earned/accured in a month?
