There is a cumulative per day transaction limit of ₹ 10,00,000 for Fund transfer transactions. You can increase or decrease the limit (Maximum ₹ 10,00,000) from the hamburger menu on this App itself
Increase in limit will require OTP for authentication and 4 hour cooling period during which the old limit will be applicable
Decrease in limit does not have any cooling period or OTP authentication requirement
When you register on INDIE for the first time or if you change the mobile device and re-register the INDIE application, limit will be set to ₹ 2,00,000 for next 24 hours
You can add a payee by selecting “Send Money” > “Transfer Funds” > “Add Payee or add New Payee” button
You can start sending money to a newly added payee only after 30 minutes of adding the payee. After 30-minute, standard daily transaction limits apply.
However, you can immediately transfer funds without adding a payee using the Quick Transfer functionality. For quick transfer, per transaction limit is capped at maximum of ₹ 50,000/- and there is a per day limit of ₹ 2,00,000/- . There is no cap on the number of transactions.

You can become a Mega Star either by doing a funding of ₹ 50,000 or more or by earning the minimum threshold INDIE Gems on the App. Similarly, you can become a Super Star by doing a funding of ₹ 25,000 to ₹ 49,999 or by earning the minimum threshold of INDIE Gems.
Effective 1st April 2024, following are the funding conditions to upgrade to Megastar:
Option 1: Fund the INDIE account with Rs. 50k or more in one single transaction within first 30 days of account opening.
Option 2: Maintain a minimum average balance of Rs. 2 lakhs (Savings + FD) or Rs. 50k (Savings) in any calendar quarter post the quarter in which customer has onboarded. There are 4 quarters in a calendar year - Jan to Mar, Apr to June, July to Sept, Oct to Dec.
E.g. If a customer got onboarded on 5th Nov 2023, and has not been upgraded to Megastar till 31st March 2024, only if the customer maintains quarterly balance (as defined above) for April to June period (or any other subsequent quarter), would the customer get upgraded to Megastar.
You can earn cashback of ₹50 if your first funding transaction to your INDIE account is ₹5,000 to ₹49,999. You can earn cashback of ₹250 if your first funding transaction to your INDIE account is ₹50,000 or more.
For eg. if you make a first funding of ₹6,000 then you will get ₹50 cashback and if you make a first funding of ₹60,000 then you will get ₹250 cashback
However, if your first funding is for ₹1,000 and the second funding is for ₹4,000 (resulting in a cumulative funding of ₹5,000) then you won't be eligible for the cashback since the first funding of ₹1000 does not meet the minimum threshold of ₹5,000. This is applicable from 12th Aug 2024.
